About Us

Welcome – I’m Jay DeVincentis.  President of Investment Research Group, Inc. and Founder of www.stockbarometer.com.

As a professional trader, financial publisher and successful affiliate marketer – one of my primary drivers is as an educator. I’ve instructed traders on how to succeed for the past decade.

My financial newsletters are geared towards teaching people how to time the stock market – and showing them how to make money in the process. Knowing when to buy and sell is the most critical factor to success in the stock market.

My financial blog is about identifying opportunities in the stock market.

So why affiliate marketing?

My story is a little funny.  I actually stumbled upon affiliate marketing.  As a marketer of financial newsletters, I distributed my subscriptions through various affiliate channels.

And for me it was instantly successful.  I put in many years as a vendor, on the other side of the equation – not realizing the goldmine I was sitting on. My over 17,000 current and past clients.

Then a light clicked on above my head, yes, just like you see in the cartoons. The nice thing about selling other people’s products is that 1) they pay for the marketing 2) you can see which products perform best and market them and 3) you don’t have to handle the customer service.

I’m still a ‘newbie’ in this industry, but having seen its potential and learned about as much about it as possible, I put together this site to help my clients (and others) not only make money promoting my products, but also open the door to affiliate marketing and endless opportunity it provides.

Now as an affiliate marketer, my eyes are open to the tremendous opportunities that affiliate marketing has to offer.  I still trade, as that’s my passion – and my primary money maker.  I just have less and less a need to.  As I’ve said before, there’s nothing better than making money on auto pilot while you’re on vacation.

So I encourage you to join me – sign up for my email list – and begin learning how to make money online while avoiding the traps.  I’ll share with you what I learned and what really made a difference to me.

The learning process of becoming an affiliate marketer obviously depends on the amount of time you have to dedicate to learning it and practicing it.  Many of the terms and concepts may be new to you. That initial process can take 3-6 months – and the learning is continuous.  There are always new ways to make money (and changes to Google’s algorithm) that you’ll need to stay on top of if you want to succeed in this industry.

There’s a learning curve. But during this curve, you should be doing. Start buying sites, start playing around with getting ranked for certain terms. And the more you learn, the more you can apply and the more money you will make.

But give it time.  There will be a time when it all starts to make sense.  Your website(s) will get more traffic.  Your traffic will convert into more sales.  And your sales will translate eventually into financial freedom.  But you have to make your first $50 before you make your first $100.

Let me help you get there.

Regards,

Jay DeVincentis
